Petromine was established by Tomihiro Saito & Ng Mee Kim in October 1985. Petromine factory is located in Gopeng, Perak, Malaysia. Our brand new building is the center of our operations and offers high quality recycling products. We are processors and marketers of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals.

 

Petromine launches their branch in the Philippines located at Victoria Wave Special Economic Zone, Caloocan City.

On May 20, 2003, soon after the completion of its building, offices, drying beds and treatment facilities, Petromine started commercial operations, servicing the waste disposal requirements of multinational companies, in Cavite, Clark, Subic, Batangas and Laguna Economic Zone, all of them are locators regulated by Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).

 

Petromine is a solution-driven and service oriented metal bearing waste management firm providing the most efficient ferrous, non-ferrous and precious metal recovery services in the Philippines. Other processes include the used oil & solvent recovery and resin / plastic recycling.

Petromine has invested heavily in high performance equipment and uses the most relevant processes available to ensure that the treatment of materials is ecologically safe with no less importance placed on preserving the health and safety of out workers and the workplace.

 

Petromine employed the High-Temperature Material Recovery (HTMR) in processing of metal bearing sludge. One significant advantage of the HTMR process is that other toxic constituents in the wastes, such as complex cyanide/organics, would be destroyed at the high temperatures prevailing in the furnaces. In addition, we also adopt the chemical precipitation process in treating and recovering metalbearing wastes in the following types: plating baths, etchants, pickling solutions and strippers containing copper, nickel, tin, and others. The metal-bearing recovery facility has a capacity to process 468,000 metric tons of material per year and the Waste Water recovery facility is capable of producing 55,091 metric tons per year.
